Adrenaline Rush is the third studio album by rapper Twista, released on June 24, 1997. It was his second album nationally released, after his previous effort Resurrection was shelved outside of Chicago. The album had guest artists: Johnny P, Liffy Stokes, Miss Kane, Malif, Mayz and Turtle Banks. The first single off the album was 'Emotions', a song which reworked the chorus of the Do or Die hit 'Po Pimp' (on which Twista was featured). The single 'Get It Wet' charted on the Billboard Hot 100 at number 96. With very little airplay or radio play outside the midwest, the album was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) on July 15, 2019.

Twista Adrenaline Rush
20 years ago today, Twista released his 3rd album, Adrenaline Rush. He was known as Tung Twista prior to just going by Twista. He didn’t get his proper recognition until his guest appearance on Chicago’s own, Do or Die smash-hit Po Pimp. After a few appearances on that Picture This album, everyone wanted to hear more from Twista. With that, he released his Adrenaline Rush album and it was well-received from everyone. Not only he possesses those rapid flows, but damn his music is smooth as hell. His first single from the album was Emotions and it was just another signature Twista track, which is a good thing. Get It Wet was another single released went Gold with little to no airplay. Every time I hear this album I think about my best friend who used to bump this album all the time in his Chevy. RIP T!!

This is a really dope album and one I think should be in your hip hop collection. My favorite tracks are Adrenaline Rush, Death Before Dishonor, It Feels So Good, Overdose, Emotions, Unsolved Mysteries and Get It Wet.
